In 2012 we saw the rise of enterprise social networking and a little less command and control in the corporate world thanks to new tools and collaborative intranets to enhance workplace productivity. And visual communication got hot, hot, hot.
So what will 2013 bring? Will 2013 be the year when internal communications breaks free from its second cousin once removed, HR. Or 2013 will be the year when internal communications recognises that it is not a transactional channel? A year when practitioners recognise that it is not only about communication. It is all about behaviours.
