Richard Bailey

Richard Bailey is a public relations educator with experience of teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and professional levels. He has taught the subject at Leeds Metropolitan University and the University of Gloucestershire and has been a CIPR-approved professional trainer. He is an experienced tutor and course leader on the CIPR Advanced Certificate and Diploma qualifications.

A former magazine journalist writing on business and technology, he has worked at senior level within technology sector PR consultancies and in-house for science and technology companies. A member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations since 1998, he blogs at www.prstudies.com (listed among Cision's top ten UK PR blogs), maintains a list of books and other sources for those studying PR at prbooks.pbworks.com and is the editor of Behind the Spin, a magazine for PR students and young practitioners.
